The NCIOM Task Force on Long-Term Care examined long-term care issues for both older adults and people with physical or cognitive disabilities. However, most of the focus was on the long-term care delivery and financing systems for people with acquired physical and cognitive disabilities (i.e. those disabilities that occurred after childhood).
