In 2007, the NCIOM released a report entitled Just What Did the Doctor Order? Addressing Low Health Literacy in North Carolina, which presented the findings and recommendations of the Task Force on Health Literacy. This 2010 update includes information about the progress, or lack thereof, in implementing the 14 Task Force recommendations. In total, progress has been made in implementing 11 (79%) of the recommendations. No action has been taken to implement 3 of the recommendations.
