In 2007, the NCIOM released a report entitled “Just What Did the Doctor Order? Addressing Low Health Literacy in North Carolina,” which presented the findings and recommendations of the Task Force on Health Literacy. This 2010 update includes information about the progress, or lack thereof, in implementing the 14 Task Force recommendations.
