The goal of the Healthy North Carolina 2020 Project was to develop the state’s 2020 health objectives.
This report is a companion publication to Healthy North Carolina 2020: A Better State of Health, and provides additional background information for each of the 13 focus areas and more information about why each of the 40 objectives was selected and how targets were set. To provide an online source for additional information, the evidence-based strategy tables from the report released in January have also been included in the technical report.
