In March, Governor Cooper released a budget plan that included Medicaid expansion. Aligned with this intention, state lawmakers have proposed two Medicaid Expansion bills: Close the Medicaid Coverage Gap and NC Health Care for Working Families. Here’s the rundown on both:
Both proposals have passed 1st reading and have now been referred to Committees.
