Join us to help shape North Carolina’s priorities for healthy communities!

Purpose

  • Review potential health indicators and prioritize those that resonate with the most pressing health priorities of each community
  • Incorporate the perspectives and experiences of community members and leaders in business, health, faith, education, and the public sector
  • Build awareness of North Carolina's health improvement plan process and its impact on efforts to align community goals to leverage resources

Logistics

  • All community members from these counties, as well as surrounding counties, are invited to participate in these sessions.
  • You may attend more than one meeting. Please register for each meeting you plan to attend.
  • The meetings will last two and a half hours and will include a review of potential health indicators and a prioritization process for each of the four health factor focus areas (Health Behavior, Social and Economic Factors, Clinical Care, and Physical Environment).
  • We would like all meetings to be accessible for those who need Spanish language interpretation, ASL services and any other accessibility services. To help ensure availability, please indicate service needs when you register for the meeting.
