Sarah Dancausse, MPP is a research specialist at the North Carolina Institute of Medicine. Before joining the NCIOM, Sarah worked in health access for newly arrived refugees and immigrants. Through this work, Sarah interacted with numerous aspects of the US health care system and coached individuals on topics such as Medicaid, language access laws, specialty care, and disability services. She is passionate about better aligning health policies, systems and programs with the lived experiences of the communities they serve. Sarah earned a BSPH in Health Policy and Management from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in health policy from Duke University.
