Ruby Brinkerhoff, MUP, is the Assistant Managing Editor of the North Carolina Medical Journal. Ruby received her master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a focus on land use and environmental planning. Her master’s work focused on issues related to zoning reform and changing urban policies around housing and the built environment. Ruby served as an editor for the Carolina Planning Journal, which covers myriad issues related to planning and public health. She received a B.A. in Biology and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Guilford College.
