Kaitlin Ugolik Phillips, MS

Communications Director

Kaitlin Ugolik Phillips is the NCIOM Communications Director and serves as Managing Editor of the North Carolina Medical Journal. She previously spent over a decade as a journalist and editor for various business and legal publications in New York. She received her M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where her thesis focused on the history, funding, and human impact of New York City’s syringe exchange programs. She received her B.A. in journalism with a minor in international studies from Elon University.
