Bryan Francis is a research assistant at the NCIOM currently working on the Oral Health Transformation Task Force performing literature reviews and report writing to support the task force’s collaborative design, development, and messaging of oral health care transformation opportunities in North Carolina. She previously worked with Community Care of North Carolina on the Carolina Community Tracing Collaborative, as a contact tracer combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, she completed an internship with the North Carolina Oral Health Collaborative, a partner organization with the NCIOM on the Oral Health Transformation Initiative, in which she wrote a policy review and analysis on opportunities and challenges to expanding the dental safety net across the state. Bryan is a recent Master of Public Health graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Global Public Health and a current Doctor of Dental Surgery candidate at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
